AI Trip Planner is a sophisticated multi-agent system that orchestrates five specialized AI agents working in concert to create comprehensive, personalized travel plans. Users simply input their destination, trip duration, budget, and preferences, and the system coordinates multiple autonomous agents to deliver a complete travel package.
The platform employs a Planner Agent for itinerary creation, Budget Agent for cost tracking, Local Guide Agent for food and experience recommendations, Research Agent for current travel updates, and a Travel Agent that orchestrates all components. This multi-agent architecture ensures every aspect of trip planning is handled by a specialized expert.
Built with Streamlit and powered by OpenAI Agents SDK with Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite through OpenRouter, the system delivers professional-grade travel planning with real-time web search integration via Tavily. Users receive structured schedules, itemized budgets, local insights, and downloadable trip documents—all generated in minutes.
